One of my favorite covers of all time, and I'm lucky enough to have this first edition copy with its beautiful cover sitting on my shelf.
I know you’ve always been told to never judge a book by its cover, but some are just too beautiful, disturbing, or interesting to ignore, and after a few days of relatively non-stop reading, this afternoon I’ve decided to shift my focus from their text-filled pages to their oft warned about covers. Here are a few (out of many) websites and blogs devoted to the beauty we experience from books, before we even open them.
This is very different and intersting….. thanks for posting!

there is an e missing….
I have to admit my guilt in this also. Your cover of the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test reminded me of a copy of The Crying of Lot 49 that I own. I was able to find an image of it…
The Crying of Lot 49 is one of my absolute, all time favorite books. And what a cover!
Great book. I enjoy Wolfe’s witt and prose. My favorite Wolfe book is The Right Stuff. Great read!

The cover of the Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test reminds me of ‘Yellow Submarine’ cartoon.
